Max Larisch is writing for us

While Aaron Hillegass used to do most of the writing, we have been very lucky to able to hire Max Larisch as a full-time writer on the project.

Max Larisch is a skilled educator with over a decade of experience working with secondary and post-secondary math and science learners. With 5 years of experience teaching high school in the public school system, he has integrated mathematics and science instruction to foster a deeper understanding of the intimate relationship between the two subjects.

Having had the privilege to attend the Center for Advanced Studies in Math, Science, and Technology at Wheeler High School, Max wants all students to have access to the quality, free education he received. Originally educated as a bioengineer, he holds Bachelor’s and Master’s degrees from Caltech and UCSB, respectively. In 2018, he transitioned into education, earning a Master of Arts in Teaching from Georgia State University.
Passionate about integrating real-world applications to inspire the next generation of scientists, mathematicians, and engineers, Max is dedicated to creating high-quality curriculum accessible to students of all socio-economic backgrounds.
